The pieces selected by the jury stood out for their musical quality, originality, and ability to convey an authentic message of faith, hope, and brotherhood.

Laudato sii sempre sia lodato – Alessandra D’Amico – La Fruly (Giulia Nini)
We are Alessandra (Ale) and Giulia (Fruly), two young women aged twenty-one and twenty-nine. We have both been passionate about music since we were children. Alessandra studied at the Perugia Conservatory, while Giulia, a self-taught musician, is the duo’s true instrumentalist: she plays every instrument featured in the song we performed. We first met at the University Pastoral Center in Perugia, a place of spiritual connection and fraternal friendship. After collaborating on several musical projects, we decided that our artistic understanding could be a vehicle for unity, allowing us to write and set to music together, revisited in a genre we both share, a new hymn to the Canticle of the Creatures. Our goal is not to reformulate the text of the Canticle, but to transform such an enlightening text into living stone.
“Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done wondrous things” (Psalm 98:1). In our history, we truly recognize that the Lord has worked wonders, and this is the occasion for a new song, a deeply felt and lived praise that truly seeks to unite every language and nation. For this reason, each refrain of the text is translated into three languages—vernacular Italian, Spanish, and English—to emphasize the universality of the hymn and its message. Moved by the question: how can we praise creation even today, in our present, perhaps somewhat torn by wars, not only those of the world? How can we sing to the Lord a new song, an inspired song, to truly praise Him for whom, in whom, and in whom we believe?
We are simple girls, who live our faith through works, through service, and this is what we believe is evident in our song: concreteness, radicality, and the beauty of wanting to ever better understand the Divine mystery of the Divine Master.
Ogni cosa canta di te – Caterina Corbo
I’m Caterina, a student at the “Lorenzo Perosi” Conservatory in Campobasso, where I study Violin and Composition, after graduating from the “Galanti” Music High School in Campobasso.
My passion for music began as a child in my parish choir, where I began singing and discovering the value of music as a means of expression and sharing. Today, I am a member of the oratory of the Parish of San Pietro Apostolo in Campobasso, led by the Friars Minor Conventual.
I love music in all its forms: singing, playing, writing, and composing. I often dedicate myself to composing original pieces, both within the parish context, creating hymns for summer camps and oratory activities, and in the pop genre. I also have a strong interest in music production, through which I try to transform my ideas into complete artistic projects.
Solo per amore – Diorama
We are a musical band formed in November 2022, consisting of Raffaella, Silvia, Mattia, Letizia, and Roberta. United by a passion for music and significant experience in missionary outreach for P.I.M.E. (Pontifical Institute for Foreign Missions). Having grown up with an awareness of and closeness to mission lands, we have chosen to put our talents at the service of others. Our music is more than just notes and harmonies; it is a vehicle for a message of human growth, openness to the world, and sharing, to inspire and connect people with a single, great goal: to bring light and do good wherever we are.
PROJECT: The “Diorama” project was born from the desire to unite the passion for music, skills, and experience of its members to create a network of encounters and solidarity, sharing music in a simple and informal way and organizing moments of collective engagement. The idea is to use music as a tool to connect people, foster encounters, and generate community opportunities in various educational, social, and ecclesial contexts.
Within this journey, the project has chosen from the beginning to maintain a strong solidarity dimension: musical events become opportunities to concretely support missionary organizations. The proceeds raised during the evenings are donated to the missions of PIME and the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate. Specifically, the project has contributed to supporting a mission in Bangladesh, where the PIME Fathers work, and will continue its commitment by supporting a mission in Guinea-Bissau, where the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate are present. Music thus becomes not only a moment of artistic sharing, but also a tool for telling stories, creating connections, and building bridges between people and different realities, testifying to the fullness that comes from opening ourselves to others.
The choice of the project’s name reflects this vision: the term “Diorama,” understood as “a collection of views that through light and color create the impression of a panorama,” evokes the idea of ​​intertwining diverse identities, experiences, and backgrounds to broaden one’s perspective and recognize a larger picture, in which each person is an active participant and protagonist alongside the others.
