The “Fra GOspel” music competition, aimed at enhancing the artistic creativity of young people through the composition of an original piece inspired by the theme of the Canticle of the Creatures, aims to promote a musical language capable of expressing beauty, praise, connection with creation, and spiritual depth.
Participation requirements
The following can participate in the competition:
- Young people between 18 and 35 years of age on the date of registration.
- Soloists or bands
- Citizens of any geographical origin, without restrictions on nationality or residency.
Each participant must present:
- A single original song, of any musical genre.
- The piece must be consistent with the theme of the “Canticle of the Creatures”.
- The work must be unpublished or not commercially published.
- The song must be regularly registered or registered with a collecting society (SIAE, Soundreef or equivalent).
Required materials
During registration, candidates must upload:
- Audio file of the song preferably in wav format (final version).
- Full text of the song in PDF or digital format.
- Brief presentation of the artist or band.
- Any instrumental support (optional, if useful for the evaluation). Photo of the participant or group (optional).
Deadline
The deadline for submitting all required materials is June 30th.
