On the occasion of the Chapter of Mats, which will be held in Assisi from August 3 to 6, 2026, “Fra GOspel” will be launched, a singing competition dedicated to music born from the heart and soul.
Regulation
Participation requirements (age, origin, technical requirements)
All candidates between the ages of 18 and 35 at the time of registration are eligible to participate. Soloists or bands are eligible. The competition is open to participants of any geographical origin, with no restrictions on nationality or residence. Each participant must submit only one original piece, of any musical genre, either specifically composed or pre-existing but consistent with the theme of the “Canticle of the Creatures.” The piece must be unreleased or not commercially released and registered with a collecting society (SIAE or SOUNDREEF).
Required materials:
- Audio file of the song preferably in wav format (final version).
- Full lyrics of the song in PDF or digital format.
- Brief introduction of the artist or band.
- Acceptance of the complete rules.
- Declaration of originality of the work.
- Consent to the processing of personal data.
