Who is it for?
Young Europeans aged 18 (adults) to 33, who wish to share their lives, moments of listening, dialogue, education, prayer, and celebration in the name of Saint Francis.

To bring together young Europeans in the name of Saint Francis, promoting peace, dialogue, and faith through an immersive experience in Assisi, the heart of the 2026 Franciscan Jubilee Year.
Can I come to GoAssisi alone?
Of course, you will be welcomed into a welcoming environment and will meet many people with whom you can share the experience.
Can I register as a group?
Each participant, during registration, can specify the name of their group (e.g., scout, oratory, movement, diocese, or parish) in the dedicated field during registration. This helps us organize better. Each participant must register with their personal information, including their email address. However, payment can be made using the same PayPal account.
What is the maximum age?
33 years old: The 33-year age limit ensures a “young” audience, with a uniformity of participants to foster authentic dialogue.
Is it mandatory to purchase a package to participate?
Yes, you must choose between four packages: Brother Sun, Sister Moon, Sister Water, and Brother Wind.
Can I only participate in the workshops?
No, participation is all-inclusive: workshops, labs, and community moments are an integral part of the program.
Can I only participate in one day?
No, the event is designed as a complete experience from August 3rd to 6th.
Can I arrive on the 4th?
Unfortunately, no. Arrival is scheduled for August 3rd for check-in and initial orientation.
Do I need to provide travel?
Yes, round-trip transportation to and from Santa Maria degli Angeli is the responsibility of the participants.
Do I have to attend workshops (W) and labs (L)?
Yes, they are key moments for learning and sharing, included in every package.
Can I choose different W and L?
No, the program assigns fixed combinations to optimize time and groups.
What is the difference between workshops and labs?
Workshops (W) are thematic listening and dialogue sessions in a larger group; labs (L) are more interactive, hands-on and educational activities.
How many workshops/labs are there?
Each participant can register for a maximum of four workshops. Please pay attention to the location of the events: some activities will take place in Santa Maria degli Angeli, about an hour’s walk away. We recommend planning your choices based on travel times.
Is dinner on August 3rd included?
No, dinner on August 3rd is not included in any package. You can organize it yourself on site.
Is lunch on August 6th included?
No, the final lunch is the responsibility of the participants.
I can’t register for a workshop: what can I do?

What should I bring from home?
Sleeping bag, mat, hat, water bottle, sunscreen, and personal hygiene kit. Everything else is provided.
Is it hot in Assisi in August?
Yes, temperatures can be high (average 30-35°C). Bring light clothing and always hydrate.
Are Masses and Eucharistic celebrations scheduled every day?
No, only the Missionary Mandate Mass on the last day (August 6th) at 10:00 AM in the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli.
Is it possible to attend only Mass with the Holy Father on August 6th?
Pope Leo will come to meet all the young people participating in the “Go” event. For those who wish to attend the celebration as faithful, we don’t have specific details at this time.
What is Fra GOspel?
“Fra GOspel” is a singing competition dedicated to music born from the heart and soul.
Who can participate?
All candidates between the ages of 18 and 35 at the time of registration are eligible to participate. Soloists or bands are eligible. The competition is open to participants from any geographical location, with no restrictions on nationality or residence. Each participant must submit a single original song, of any musical genre, either specially composed or pre-existing, but consistent with the theme of the “Canticle of the Creatures.” The song must be unreleased or not commercially released and registered with a collecting society (SIAE or SOUNDREEF).
