Assisi is a place that still speaks today. Here, between silence and encounters, questions arise that touch the lives of many young people: which direction should we give to our choices? How do we live with personal and collective fragility? What does it really mean to build peace and take care of the world we live in?
This webinar starts precisely from these questions—not to offer easy answers, but to create a space where we can pause, listen, and engage honestly with one another. It is an opportunity to be challenged, to share experiences, and to imagine new possible steps together, starting from different stories, ideas, and perspectives, yet inspired by a common root.
At the heart of the meeting is the experience of the GO! Franciscan Youth Meeting, a journey involving young people from all over Europe and inspired by the spirit of the Chapter of the Mats: a simple and authentic way of being together, shaped by listening, dialogue, fraternity, and shared life. The conversation will touch on the search for meaning, spirituality today, relationships, European citizenship, and how the charism of Francis can still speak to our present time.
The dialogue will be led by fr. Alfio Vespoli, fr. Fabrizio De Lellis, and fr. Alessio Maria Ortica, three friars from different Franciscan families, who will engage in an open and down-to-earth exchange, also giving space to creativity and music as forms of expression and sharing.
This is an invitation for those who are willing to step in, ask real questions, and walk together—without already knowing where the journey will lead, but with the courage to begin.
